A múltheti, máriapócsi futamon semmi baja nem lett a Carinának, így az indulásig rendelkezésre álló három napban csak a szokásos karbantartásokat kellett elvégezni. Az EB 3. futamára öt Magyar versenyző is nevezett, de végül rajtunk kívül csak Révész Tommi képviselte hazánkat.

Péntek délben Sosnovára derű-borús, változékony időben érkeztünk. A délutáni gépátvételen a 23db DIV. I-es nevezőből, 19-en jelentek meg, melyből 17-en tudták értékelhetően befejezni a versenyt vasárnap estére. Az időjárás szombatra rosszabbodott, így az edző futamok szakadó esőben zajlottak, ahol Fodor Gyuri a 10., Révész Tommi a 11. időt érte el.

A szombat délutáni 1. selejtező futamra már elállt ugyan az eső, de még sáros-vizes pályán kellett a futamot megtartani. Ezen Révész Tomminak a 10., míg Fodor Gyurinak egy megpördülést követően a 13. helyezést sikerült elérni.  A Carinának szerencsére semmi baja nem lett, így szombat este a  kocsi mosás volt legnagyobb feladat.

Vasárnap reggelre a felhők eloszlottak, így a warm up már feszáradó pályán zajlott, ahol a korábbi versenyekkel ellentétben végre semmi problémánk nem volt.

A 2. selejtező futamra már száraz gumival lehetett kiállni, azonban a rajt pillanatában tönkre ment a Carina hátsó hajtása, így ezt a futamot nem tudtuk értékelhetően befejezi. Révész Tommi a többiek hibáit kihasználva, biztos autózással a 7. lett. Így 2 futam összesítése után Gyuri a 18., míg Tommi a 8. helyről várhatta a 3. selejtezőt. A versenyzői felvonulást színesítendő, a magyar csapatot Lippai Zsolti Skoda445-jével vitte körül a pályán melyet a Cseh hazai nézők nagy tapssal jutalmaztak.

A 3. selejtezőre sikerült kicserélnünk a meghibásodott alkatrészeket és bár a rajtunk nem sikerült jól, ennek ellenére 10. időt futottunk. Révész Tommi a 2.körben egy hátsó defekt miatt korlátnak ütközött, így nem tudta értékelhetően befejezni ezt a selejtező futamot. Így a 3. futam után összesítésben Gyuri feljött a 14., míg Tommi visszacsúszott a 10. helyre.

A C döntő első kanyarjában Gyuri kicsúszott a pályáról így a többiek után eredve már csak a 14. helyet és a hozzá tartozó 3 Eb pontot tudta megszerezni.

A B döntő rajtjánál Jokinen beragadt, így Tommi felkerült a 9. helyre. Ekkor a futamot Lindefjell vezette Isachsen, Larsson, Tommi, Vyborny és Jokinen előtt. Előbb Isachsen próbálta Lindefjellt támadni az első helyért, de a Focus lepattant a Hyundairól és a pálya szélén megállt, majd nem sokkal később Larsson is megpróbálta ugyan ezt a Fabiaval, de ő is így járt. Így Révész Tommi a futam végére felkerült a 7. helyre és ezzel további 10 EB pontot szerzett.

Az A döntő első pozíciójából a 11x Európa bajnok Kenneth Hansen, míg a második kockájából a hazai szurkolók legnagyobb örömére Pavel Koutny várhatta a rajtot. Mögöttük: Bermingrud, Jernberg, Eklund és a B döntő győzteseként Lindefjell volt a sorrend a rajtrácson.

Az A döntőben jelentősen felborult a papírforma, az első kanyarban Hansen-Jernberg-Koutny ütköztek és kisodródtak. Így a remekül rajtoló Eklund feljött a második helyre Bermingrud mögé. Koutny a pálya szélén állva maradt, Jernberg ugyan még vissza tudott jönni de már csak jóval a többiek után az 5. helyre.

Ekkor Hansen kezdte támadni Eklundot, aki viszont Bermingrudot késztette gyorsabb haladásra. Az utolsó körben Hansen meglökte Eklundot aki ettől kisodródott és vissza esett a 3. helyre de megsérült a jobb első kereke amitől a cél előtti utolsó kanyarban kb 150km/h sebességgel a korlátba csapódott. Szerencsére Eklundnak semmi baja nem lett de a Saab komoly kárt szenvedett. Így végül az EB 3. futamát Bermingrud nyerte Hansen és a nap legszerencsésebb versenyzője Lindefjell előtt. Mögöttük Jernberg, Eklund és Koutny maradt a sorrend.

A Magyar csapat Révész Tommi 10 és Fodor Gyuri 3 pontjával ismét gazdagította EB pontjainak számát. Ezzel 3 futam után Tommi 20 ponttal a 11., míg Fodor Gyuri 3 ponttal a 25. az összesítésben.

Az Európa bajnoki sorozat következő futama, ezen a hétvégén az Ausztriai Melk-ben lévő új ÖMTC pályán kerül megrendezésre, melyre DIV.1.-ben 33, és összesen 71 autó, köztük 6 Magyar versenyző is nevezett! Mindenkit várunk szeretettel.

Fortunately, the car did not have any trouble in the course of the Máriapócs heat of last week, so we only had to do the usual maintenance works during the three days up to the start. Five Hungarian drivers entered for the competition of the third round of the ERC, but finally only Toyota Team Fodor and Tommi Révész represented the country.

We arrived at Sosnova at a sunny-dull, changeable weather on Friday. At the taking over in the afternoon 19 showed up from the 23 DIV I. competitors. From these 19 only 17 drivers could finish the race valuably. The weather had broken on Saturday, so the timing heats were held in a pouring rain. Fodor Gyuri was placed at 10^th, while Tommi Révész placed 11^th.

At the first heat of Saturday afternoon the rain stopped, but the round was to be held on a muddy and wet track. In the course of this heat Tommi Révész arrived at the 10^th, while, after a small twirl Gyuri Fodor reached the 13^th place. Fortunately the Carina remained unharmed, so we had to do the car wash only on Saturday evening as the main duty.

By Sunday morning the sky became clear, so the warm-up was held on a drying track. During this round, in contrast with the former heats we did not have any difficulties with the car.

At the second heat we could use the dry-tyres. Unfortunately at the moment of the start the rear-drive of the Carina went broke, so we could not finish this heat valuably. Tommi Révész, profiting from the others’ faults, with a steady driving placed 7^th. So after the summary of the 2 heats Gyuri stood in the 18^th, while Tommi stood in the 8^th place. Vividing the presentation of the drivers, Zsolti Lippai took round the Hungarian troop at the circuit with his Skoda 445. The Czech spectators awarded this attraction with a thunderous applause.

By the third heat we could replace the broken down parts, and, though our start was not the best, we could complete the 10^th time. Tommi Révész hit against the barrier after a rear puncture, so he could not finish this preliminary valuably. After the third heat, according the totalling, Gyuri came up to the 14^th, while Tommi went down to the 10^th place.

In the first curve of the C final Gyuri slipped out of the circuit, so he could only got the 14^th place and its 3 EC-points.

At the start of the B final Jokinen got stuck, so Tommi got up to the 9^th place. At this time Lindefjell before Larsson, Tommi, Vyborny and Jokinen led the heat. First Isachsen tried to attack Lindefjell for the first place, but the Focus jumped aside from the Hyundai, and stopped at the edge of the circuit. A little later Larsson also tried this with his Fabia, but the outcome was the same. So Tommi Révész got the 7^th place by the end of this heat, so he could acquire further 10 EC-points.

From the first position of the A final the elevenfold European Champion, Kenneth Hansen, while from the second position Pavel Koutny was waiting for the start, to the utter pleasure of the native fans. Behind them Bermingrud, Jernberg, Eklund, and as the winner of the B final Lindefjell was the order of the start positions.

At the A final nothing happened as on paper: at the first bend Hansen, Jernberg and Koutny ran into each other and swept aside. So Eklund, whose start was really splendid, came up for the second place behind Bermingrud. Koutny stayed at the brink of the track, Jernberg could come back, but only for the 5^th place.

Then Hansen started to attack Eklund, who urged Bermingrudot to drive faster. In the last round Hansen knocked Eklund. Eklund swept along and went back to  the 3^rd place. After that his front right tyre got damaged, so he hit into the barrier at the last curve before the finish with a speed of approx. 150 km/h. Fortunately he did not get hurt, but his Saab got seriously damaged. So Bermingrud before Hansen and the luckiest driver of the day, Lindefjell, won the third round of the European Championship. Behind them Jernberg, Eklund and Koutny remained the order.

The Hungarian troop increased the number of its EC-points with the 10 of Tommi Révész and the 3 points of Gyuri Fodor. So after 3 heats Tommi is at the 11^th with 20 points, while Gyuri Fodor is at the 25^th place with his 3 points in the summary.

The next round of the ERC-series will be held this weekend on the new ÖMTC-circuit at Melk, Austria. 33 drivers of DIV I. entered this heat, from the total 71 entries. Among these 71 drivers 6 Hungarian competitors shall take part.
