Ranga László emlékére!

Ma már Rallycross történelem az 1994.05.01.-én, ádándi, Magyar Bajnokság 2. futamának A döntőjében történt Ranga-Kotán párharc és annak végét jelentő ütközés, mely után Ranga Laci feladni kényszerült a versenyt.

Akkor még nem tudtuk, hogy ez egyben a rallycross pályafutásának végét is jelentette.

Később már csak nézőként jött el néhány versenyre, akkor megmutattuk neki az adott pillanatot megörökítő, általam készített diorámát, ami olyannyira elnyerte tetszését, hogy  "Szánom-Bánom" megjegyzéssel nyomban dedikálta is.

Ezzel ez az életkép a modell gyűjteményem vitathatatlanul legértékesebb darabjává vált.

In memory of László Ranga

There was a big fight between László Ranga and Péter Kotán in the 'A' final of the second heat of the Hungarian Rallycross Championship on 01 May 1994 at Ádánd. This fight ended unluckily with a clash, after which Laci Ranga had no choice but to give up. This event is a part of the rallycross-history now.

At that time we did not know that Laci's rallycross-carreer also came to an end at the same time.

Later he could only visit the races as a spectator. Once we showed him the diorama, which was made by me and recorded the ominous moment. The picture impressed him so much that he dedicated it straightaway with the comment "I'm sorry".

With that, this piece certainly became the most valuable part of my collection.
